My journey into social services began over 30 years ago. It was guided by the values of collectivism, serving the community and uplifting others by supporting people through some of life’s most challenging moments. Over time, this work has become more than a profession, it is a calling grounded in compassion, respect, and connection.

Haumanu Hapū was founded from a desire to create a space that reflects these values, a space where people feel heard, supported, and empowered.

As a practitioner, I have worked across the life span, supporting individuals, whānau and communities with care that is both professional and culturally responsive. My work as an ACC Sensitive Claims counsellor and social worker has given me the privilege of walking alongside people as they navigate healing, growth, and change.

It is an absolute privilege to be of service to people and contributing to our community. As an ACC Supplier I offer a supportive contracting environment for the ACC Providers at Haumanu Hapū and the contracting resources and induction process sets practitioners up for success. In my own practice longside ACC Sensitive Claims counselling and social work, I also offer supervision, mentoring, business coaching and māori cultural support.

At work my therapy dogs Kōwhai and Onyx are often by my side, offering comfort and connection to everyone they meet in a way that words sometimes cannot.
